Institutional FX Sales - 4 Oct 2007

Sales & execution of Treasury products in Germany, Scandinavia & Eastern Europe.

Cash, FX, Options, with the institutional clients of the bank’s Global Rates Products business line.

Main duties:

Introduce new institutional trading accounts to the London Treasury to include; correspondent banks, central banks, selective asset managers, broker-dealers or insurance companies
Develop treasury dealing relationships with client banks of EMEA Correspondent Banking division.
Assume coverage responsibility for existing institutional account relationships of the bank in London.
Achieve budgeted mark-up revenue and trading volume from the sale of FX and cash products to institutional accounts.
Support the marketing of FX product capabilities to internal business lines both within fixed income and outside of the Corporate & Investment Bank.
Leverage fixed income dealing relationships to UK and European Institutional accounts through joint marketing and product presentations.
Provide generic back up to Corporate sales team.

Competencies required:

Experience dealing with a variety of financial institutions including correspondent banks, central banks, real money funds, non reciprocal banks, broker-dealers, CTA's or prop traders.
Proven track record in developing and profitably managing these clients.
2^nd European language desirable.
Strong intellect with the capacity to independently generate market views and trading ideas.
Sales and revenue focused with proven sales-margin execution capability.
Appetite to meet challenging goals over a medium term time frame.
High degree of integrity and trustworthiness with an open communication style.
Strong appetite for learning and personal growth; products, markets, ideas.
Self starter but also to work well in a small team.

Candidates should be willing to travel regularly within Europe and will be fully conversant in Reuters Dealing, Bloomberg, FXall, Microsoft Office.
