Securities arm of a leading global Investment Bank seeks a European Fixed Income sales person to:

Cover and develop business relationships with investors within a German speaking European client base, and to maximize business transacted as a generalist salesperson.

Comply with the Company’s policies and procedures as well as all rules, laws and regulatory requirements emanating from any of the regulatory authorities including, but not limited to, the FSA, and Health & Safety Executives.

Keep constantly updated as to market events and current affairs and to thoroughly understand the working technicalities of all products that the bank is involved in marketing.

Provide written reports on daily basis of clients activity and performance.

Have a thorough knowledge of client activities and requirements and to ensure that all products marketed by the bank are represented to the clients appropriately.

Work with Front office product areas to introduce profitable transactions and help shift risk off trading books.

Provide input into Management, traders, origination, and where appropriate any other department as to changes in investors’ sentiment, regulations, and any other factor which may affect the bank.

Technical Requirements:

Experience within Financial Services.
Established, portable client franchise desirable.
Knowledge of all of the following products : European Government Bonds, US Agency Bonds, Repos, Secondary Eurobond, Eurobond New Issues, Convertible Bonds, Asset Swaps, Derivatives, Credit Default Swaps, ABS, CBO/CLO.

A good understanding of financial regulations and how they affect the business.
